Where can I buy Huge Novelty Slippers? HI all, I live in the UK, london to be specific. I want to get my wife a pair of huge novelty slippers that are cute and comfy. You know the sort, huge dog slippers or huge duck slippers, etc, etc.. I have looked around online but they don't seem to have the huge comfy ones, I recall a friend having a pair, but i don't remember which friend it was. I have seen some online, but they look very small, rather than huge. I want the slippers to literally make my wife look tiny. Perhaps there is a shop I can go to rather than mess about online? any ideas, please?? thank y'all.

Fuzzy bathrobe and novelty slippers in the dorms? So, i posted this a few days ago, but i didn't leave it open for a long enough time cuz i'm new to this, and i'm dumb, haha! Anyway, I used to walk around my dorm complex wearing my fuzzy bathrobe and homer simpson slippers. Lots of people would stare or laugh, or even say to me "nice robe" or "nice slippers". It was kinda cool to get the attention, but i just did it to stay warm. I would only see girls wearing their bathrobes to the shower, and rarely ever around the dorms, and i never saw another guy wearing one. Would you ever be seen in a fuzzy robe and ridiculous slippers? What would you think if you saw a guy dressed like this? a girl?
Where can I get a pair of novelty mens' slippers that look like giant trainers? I've looked on eBay.. No luck.. I've seen them before, but I can't remember where. Gah!- I must have a pair!!- They're so cool. Thanks littlemissy, but they're giant footballs rather than giant trainers... Still, it's closer than what I found. Yes, I live in the UK.. I'll try BHS. Nicnic.. Those aren't quite the ones(they were more like giant reebok pumps), but they are pretty cool... I might get em anyway! Thanks!
how do i wash my slippers? i have novelty animal slippers, big thick fluffy ones that i wear alot. after a while, they have gotten quite smelly, and i am not sure how to wash and dry them, to preserve their fluffy-ness. any help would be much appreciated. thanks.
Shrinking a pair of bear feet slippers? I received a pair of novelty bear paw slippers as a gift from friends, but there were about a full size too big, but not much. I dont wanna go through the hassle of exchanging them, so i was wondering if there's any way i can just shrink them? The outer material is very similar to teddy bear fur, and i can only assume that the inner material is like that of typical house slippers Thank you for your time!
where can mens slippers? where can i buy my boyfriend a pair of slippers, either novelty ones or really cosy ones? i live in glasgow.
Is wearing a fuzzy bathrobe and character slippers around a dorm complex weird? I'm a guy, and the last 2 years i've lived in a dorm room. In the winter, when it's cold in the buildings, I throw on my fuzzy robe and Homer Simpson slippers. If I'm like this and I want to go out of my room for any reason I don't bother to change. I've gone to friends rooms, common areas, the studying center, the food area, etc... like this. Most mornings, if i went to breakfast, i'd have my robe and slippers on in the dining hall. People would give me looks or compliments when they saw me, and i got laughs a lot. I rarely ever saw anyone else like this, never any guys. So, would you wear your fuzzy robe and novelty slippers out to be seen by everyone in the dorms? Is it weird?
Is it okay for men to wear women's novelty socks? I love to wear women's novelty socks with strips, toes, spots etc. I especially love fuzzy slipper toe socks... Is it okay to wear them outside of just my bedroom? Thanks guys and girls.

Where to buy Westie Memorabilia in Toronto? Looking for a funny novelty gift for a friend, and she has a West-highland Terrier dog.. thought it'd be nice to add to her collection of memorabilia (mugs, magnets, slippers would be a hilarious bonus). Know of any stores in Toronto that might carry this type of thing? Or more broadly, know of any neat novelty gift shops in Toronto at all? I was thinking along the same lines as the It Store, which closed down a few years ago.

Help me with a witty yet friendly verse for wedding novelty...? HI, I'm planning to have a box of soft slipper 'flip-flops' (or 'thongs' you might call them') in the ladies bathroom at my wedding reception as a novelty gift for the women to wear during the night when/if their feet get tired and sore from the high heeled shoes... I know i'll be needing them!! ☺ Can anybody think of something I can put on a card to put with the box to tell people what they are for and to help themselves? Something like: "If you've been kicking up your heels and now your tired feet could use a rest, please join the bride and help yourself to a comfy pair of flip-flops and dance the night away!" Something funny, or witty, or just more eloquent than that would be great! Thanks guys.. (And yes, for those that worry about my guest's safety, they will be non-slip rubber soled! lol)

I want to wash these, but will they tumble dry? I have these slippers. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LADIES-WOMENS-FAB-NOVELTY-SHEEP-SLIPPERS-MULES-SIZE-5%2f6_W0QQitemZ250532896466QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=&rvr_id=&cguid=8fbc268211e0a0e204b34123fc17a251 And there are no labels, and I'm wandering if I could hand wash them with some Surf soloution, but also if I could then tumble dry them, and how long would I need to tumble dry them for do you think? :-/ I don't know what the soles are made of.
Where can I find a website selling variety of novelty Christmas stockings? Last year I saw a website with pictures of absolutely gorgeous Christmas stockings in a huge variety of designs. But I forgot to bookmark it and my web searches haven't yielded anything. On one site, there were different kinds of shoes, shoe and sock combinations, etc.. Victorian Boot, Kimono/Slipper, Western Boot, Elf Shoe, etc. etc.. I'm desperate for the kimono stocking but I want to shop for theme stockings for family members. Thanks!! No, it wasn't Ebay. It was one company's site, not a conglomeration of various merchants. Obviously, I'm going to try ebay and similar sites first. There were many unique kinds of high quality stockings sold by this one company (not individual crafters). So no ebay, overstock, etc. suggestions. You either know the site I'm talking about or you don't.
What do you think of those high heel shoes for babies? I just read about the new crib shoes for babies, 0-6 months old. The shoes are trademarked "heelarious," and the heel collapses if the baby tries to stand or walk on them. The shoes are $35 a pair and are packaged in a "glam" totebag. They are meant to be a novelty and bring smiles to the faces of the beholder. Me...I'll stick with the tiny pink ballet slippers, or the little bunny ones with ears, or the wee satin "Mary Jane" types. Am I hopelessly old-fashioned and completely out of touch??

How Can I Improve This Chapter? I'm writing some prose just for fun and it's been going pretty well. But Chapter 3 gave me a lot of trouble. Does anyone know how I can improve it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeannie could not help but notice how her flame red hair clashed with the fluorescent pink walls. Pulling her sleeping bag over her head, she attempted to keep her eyes focused on the subpar horror movie. Three platinum blondes huddled together on the floor below, transfixed by the events unfolding on the flat screen. “Oh my God, oh my God,” Tracy shouted, “Don’t open the door Lulu, don’t open the…” Window-shattering screams rung through the room as Lulu met a bloody end. Tracy and Claudia clutched the purple, heart-covered quilt to their chests in unadulterated terror. The ending credits rolled and Jeannie sighed with relief; one more high-pitched squeal and her head would have exploded. Crawling over the polished floorboards, Wendy retrieved the remote and pressed the off button. “That was so scary,” Claudia gasped, hands clasped over her chest, “I mean…wow.” Her friends nodded in agreement while Jeannie pulled faces from her perch on the end of the four-poster. Silently Jeannie cursed her Aunt Celia for dumping her in the middle of the froufrou sleepover hosted by Wendy and her two clones. She knew she would not get a wink of sleep; the room was so sugary sweet it bordered on disturbing. Airbrushed pop stars posed and pouted within their vibrant paper prisons. An army of stuffed animals was congregated on the painted shelves lining the walls, dissecting her with their beady eyes. “I know, like I was just about ready to die when that vampire came out of the closet,” Wendy agreed. While attempting not to laugh at Wendy’s nasally voice Jeannie’s eyes drifted to the flower-shaped wall clock. The elegant hands told her that it was approaching nine o’clock. Trick-or-treaters were still arriving on the doorstep of the white-washed mansion, hoping that they would receive a fistful of money when the candy supplies dried up. “Jeannie!” Tracy yelled, dissolving the thoughts clouding her head. “What?” she answered in a more irritated voice than she intended. “We were taking a vote on what to do next,” Wendy informed her, flicking a blonde curl away from her cheek. “Whatever you guys wanna do. I don’t mind.” Mascara laden eyes blinked at the lack of enthusiasm in her voice. Twirling bleached strands of hair around their fingers and pursing their lip-gloss smothered lips, the girls’ eyes glazed over in thought. Awkwardly aware of how incongruous she was Jeannie plucked at the lace lining of her plain black pyjamas. Pink fur and silk bows ordained the others’ nightclothes. Identical pairs of bunny slippers completed the matching sets. Unease bubbled in her stomach as she waited for the trio to come up with something worse than the movie, the makeover and the pillow fight. Suddenly Claudia jumped up, clapping her hands together and squealing like a demented pig. “I’ve got it,” she shrieked, “Let’s do something really freaky and cool.” Tracy got to her feet and asked, “You mean pierce our own ears?” “No,” Claudia replied, beaming, “Let’s cast a spell. You know, since it is Halloween and all.” Prising herself from the floor, Wendy threw her two loyal followers a smirk that screamed conspiracy. “Yeah, that sounds like it could be fun,” the host agreed. She bounced over to the cerise state-of-the-art computer. The PC rested on a polished pine desk which was cluttered with an assortment of cosmetics, novelty pens and enough hair products to destroy the ozone layer a dozen times over. Claudia and Tracy trailed after their friend obediently. It took them twenty minutes to find a ‘legitimate’ spell site. Another five minutes were taken up convincing Jeannie to get off the bed and help them choose a spell. Finally, Wendy had managed to write the words of a summoning ritual onto her notepad with a pen that had six inch long feathers sprouting from its top. “Ok, so it says that you have to do it on hallowed ground,” Claudia read the on-screen instructions. “What does that mean?” Tracy pondered. “Sacred ground,” Jeannie informed her wearily, “Like a graveyard.” She could see where this was going; the town graveyard was practically in Wendy’s backyard. “Oh my God, this is too perfect; the graveyard’s just up the road,” Claudia enthused. Ripping the page from the notepad, Wendy brushed the tips of the feathers across her cheek in thought. “I think you should be the one to read it out, Jeannie,” Wendy stated in a nauseatingly innocent voice. Hazel eyes darkening at the comment, Jeannie replied, “And why do you think that?” Wendy bared her teeth in a sneer that would have made the Queen of England feel inferior to the teenager. “Well, you’ve had e
