Should a straight male wear womens socks?

I am a 23 year old male and I've just discovered that I like the super low womens slipper socks because they are super thin and great for walking around the home.. Feeling the floors. I also am a but eccentric and I think I like all the 'cute' colors like green striping.. Would it be acceptable if you came over to your buddies house and saw him wearing stripped bright green womens socks.. All other clothing normal?
